He might not be in the audio guide or any book, but this is a photo of the gorgeous horse who is called 'Whitey' (no surprise there, eh!) and lives contentedly at the City Palace Stables. He loves being petted on the neck and take some lumps of sugar for him whenever you are in Udaipur! :-)

Are you sure we are in Rajasthan? This desert state has the most beautiful and fresh weather! The breeze blows cool and everywhere we look there is a sense of calm and peace. Trekking into the City Palace now...check out the lovely cages for carrier pigeons that were used back in the days! Methods of communication have sure changed!

The warm welcome and reassuring service we received at Kochi Airport from the BTS team set the tone for the rest of the days. We were on a ten-day trip to Kerela and Rajasthan and looking forward to an adventure every single day!
